Meet the Founder.

I never imagined a dog would completely change the course of my career.

After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, I spent several years photographing luxury weddings worldwide. I loved the fast pace, the emotion, and capturing moments that could never be recreated. Then Captain came along.

I started photographing him simply because I couldn’t stop—and my wedding clients noticed. Soon they were asking, “Would you photograph our dog?”

One session became ten. Ten became hundreds. Before long, I realized I wasn’t just photographing pets—I was telling stories about the relationships people share with the animals they love most.

That realization became The Salty Dog Studio, inspired by Captain’s nautical name and our love for the Southern California coast.

Today, The Salty Dog Studio has grown into a boutique creative production studio where photography, video, and storytelling come together. As Creative Director and often lead photographer, I lead every project by assembling the right team of photographers, videographers, producers, assistants, and creative partners to bring each client’s vision to life.

Whether we’re launching a new product, producing a brand campaign, or photographing a beloved family pet, my goal is always the same: Tell a story people remember.

When I’m not at the studio, you’ll usually find me at home with a cup of coffee in hand, Captain by my side, and my husband Doug chasing adventures with our three sweet girls. Those beautifully ordinary moments remind me that the best stories are often the ones happening right in front of us.
